Attend the Honk Parade in Davis Square then go for a nice bike ride with your community along the Mystic River.   We will depart from 7 Hills Park Davis Square 10 minutes after the Honk Parade.   The Honk Parade starts at 12 sharp and has 57 bands walking, so that probably means we are meeting around 1PM.   

We will ride to Colleen's a favorite ice cream shop in Medford Square.     Attendees are responsible to pay for their own family's ice cream purchases (if money is an issue contact us we will take care of you, we don't want money to be an impediment to families being able to attend our events).

This is an informal small group ride serving as a prequel to the Halloween Ride later in the month.   This ride will show you how to get to the starting point of the Halloween Ride, the Condon Shell, which we will pass by shortly before arriving at Colleen's.   The fastest way to the Condon Shell is whatever google maps shows and confident experienced riders may prefer that.  This ride is meant to show the safest and most scenic route, not the fastest.   The ride will be 4.4 miles and almost entirely on multiuse paths, never in streets except at signalized crosswalks.
