Donations to Family Bike Ride may be tax deductible, consult your tax advisor.   Family Bike Ride has a fiscal sponsorship arrangement with our parent org, Community Pedal Power, a 501c3 non profit organization.   If you need a receipt for tax purposes, we suggest using the donation form below rather than Venmo.

Family Bike Ride is organized by individual parents to promote community and biking.   We are not organized by any municipality or company.

Family Bike Ride's rides now have expenses in the $2-4k range each (insurance, play equipment, food, portable restrooms, entertainment, giveaways, permitting, required gov't staff, these things add up).    Some donations are made by sponsors (and we'd love help getting more sponsors) but the majority of expenses are paid by participants of the rides.    We don't want to have registration fees, we want these to be public events.   If you enjoy our events and like the way we are promoting bicycling in the area, please donate!
